HORAN is committed to improving the quality of life in the communities where our employees live and work. We believe we have a responsibility to serve our regional community as a good corporate citizen to create strong communities that increase the economic vitality and quality of our neighborhoods. As a company and individually, we support initiatives that educate, enrich, and heal.

In 2015:

  • More than 75% of HORAN’s employees participated in volunteer opportunities.
  • HORAN provided financial support to over 125 organizations in Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Dayton.

The HORAN Scholarship Fund started in 2014 offers scholarships to our clients’ employees and their family members. The genesis of this was the establishment in 1997 of The Jack and Elaine Horan Scholarship at the University of Cincinnati created to honor our founder and his wife, the parents of our President and CEO Terry Horan. This was followed by The Free Throw Scholarship which supports the Xavier University Men’s Basketball organization. HORAN added additional scholarship opportunities at the University of Dayton and Wright State University in 2014 and Miami University in 2015 to the Scholarship Fund. In total, HORAN offers 15 scholarships, three at each institution.

One of our most important values is Corporate Social Responsibility. We believe our duty is to give back and to serve our community as good corporate citizens.
