HORAN Professionals Receive Top Honors

Seven Employees Achieve Recognition in Their Respective Fields

Cincinnati, OH – HORAN announced seven employees have achieved top designations in their fields. Two members of the Employee Benefits team have received the highest designation possible in the health care benefits field; Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) and five advisors have been named as Five Star Wealth Managers.

Cheryl Mueller and Mikal Jeffries have both achieved the CEBS designation. CEBS stands as the industry mark of excellence and reflects what it takes to be a professional in today’s challenging employee benefits climate.

The International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, a nonprofit organization dedicated to being a leading objective and independent global source of employee benefits, compensation, and financial literacy education and information, partners with the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in offering the CEBS Program.

In addition, Terence L. Horan, CLU, ChFC, Timothy G. Powell, AIF, CFP®, Geoffrey E. Solomon, CFP®, Diane M. Hinds, CFP® and Gregory L. Hoernschemeyer, CLU have all been named 2010 Five Star Wealth Managers.

October’s Cincinnati Magazine will feature the results of the 2010 Five Star Independent Survey that finds the best personal wealth managers in the Cincinnati area. Five Star surveyed consumers, financial service professionals and Cincinnati Magazine subscribers to find the best in client satisfaction wealth mangers in the Cincinnati area. Survey recipients were asked to evaluate only wealth managers whom they knew through personal experience, and to evaluate them based upon nine criteria: customer service, integrity, knowledge/experience, communication, value for fee charged, meeting of financial objectives, post-sale service, quality of recommendations and overall satisfaction.
