Voluntary Disability Open Enrollment

Your Income is the foundation of the lifestyle you created. If you were to become disabled and unable to perform the substantial and material duties of your job, how would you replace the loss of income?

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) provides Long Term Individual Disability coverage to eligible employees at no cost to you. The benefit pays for medically necessary and approved illnesses and injuries after 26 weeks, covering 60% of your pay up to $10,000. Physicians and faculty receive 60% of your pay up to $15,000. Benefits paid by CCHMC are taxable to the employee.
